Kristen, the team, & your vision work together to achieve your dreams. When you open up to us to tell us about your love story, & your hopes and dreams about your wedding day, there begins to be something so personal about it. It’s an honour we don’t take lightly — your trust in us to capture your most important memories — it’s humbling and unique to us. It’s sappy to say, but we almost always tear up atleast once behind the camera at weddings. There is nothing greater than witnessing and documenting a chapter of love unfold right before your eyes, and forever capturing it for your love’s legacy.

I am here to capture every single moment of your wedding day... from you putting your dress on, until the DJ says first dance. I care about capturing what your day ***feels*** like.
To me, it’s more than getting your formal pictures taken. It’s about documenting every.single.moment that happened… it’s about capturing everything you felt.
Im here to capture the belly laughs, the unscripted exchanges of smirks + nose kisses between you and your love, the happy tears when your parents see their baby girl in her wedding dress, the raw emotion in your vows… all while tearing up behind my camera (yes its happened more than once).
In all seriousness, I aim to stir up nostalgia and those warm fuzzies when you look back on your wedding day images. I want to document the best day of your life.

A Friend on your Wedding Day

We find so much value in getting to know you as a person beforehand, so we can capture your love in the most **authentic way possible**. We like to grab a coffee or drink to cheers to your wedding, and chat all things life and wedding! As well, each wedding is given an engagement session experience, which allows us to capture you as your honest selves, as well as help prepare you for what to expect for your wedding day.
Every one of those client connections I honour with the utmost genuine kindness; and we consider each one of you my friends. We strive to fit in to your crew on your wedding day, like a friend to hang out by your side. You might even find me helping you with your dress, veil, and hair. Im only to capture every single moment of your day like a fly on the wall, but also to make sure you feel comfortable, **special**, and most importantly have fun! (I promise Im a great third wheel)

Documentary Style Storytelling

When you look back at your wedding images - you will see a photojournalist approach to your day in the most beautiful way. We honour everything that happened, and capture it in the best light. Things you didn’t realize happened, like your husband tearing up at your gift when he is getting ready, your parents faces beaming with joy when you kiss your groom, and your friends and family having the best time at your reception… those “in between” moments you may have forgot happened. I strive to use a documentary photojournalist eye, to capture emotion and feelings, so you will never forget how you felt in that exact moment. The warmth, the love, the connection between the people. We believe this is so important, because at the end of the day.. after alllll of the planning, the wedding images is what you’ll have left. When you view your wedding gallery, you won’t just see pictures, you will have memories.

Authentic, Timeless Editing Style

Your bridesmaids dresses won’t be a different color…Your skin tones won’t be washed out… your makeup will look the same as it did when your makeup artist did it.. your baby’s eyes will be the same color you know and love. I strive to have a very true to life, clean, timeless editing style, that portrays how you really looked… Tones that stir up nostalgia, and that are full of depth, warmth, and light.

Unposed Prompting

When we show up at a session or the formal portion of your wedding, we don’t just tell you to smile and say cheese. We take time to prepare creatively, to organically capture the beauty within you… while you participate in what you were made to do - love each other.
We believe in not directing you, but prompting you to move and love together as you naturally would. This allows you to authentically interact with one another, and have fun… so that we can truly **capture the connection** between you.

Artistic Eye

Your memories - artistically, and beautifully captured. When you choose us as your photographers, you can rest assured, you are hiring someone who has an artistic eye. We care about capturing you & your day in the most artistic, beautiful way possible.
For every wedding we strive to do a new unique, artistic thing; whether it be a new angle to an otherwise straight on pose, a fun pose prompt idea I’ve been dying to do, a sparkler or double exposure experiment, or a documentary style capture with a unique spin. We are those photographers that your guests will comment that we are getting every angle. We are not afraid to wow your wedding ceremony guests by getting on the floor to capture the ring shot at an artistic angle (if your cool with it of course) hehe :).

Frequently asked Questions

Are your packages flexible?

To some extent, yes! You may add or remove hours from my packages to suit your needs. I'd be happy to prepare a custom wedding package just for you and your love!

How far in advance should we book?

Weddings typically book 12-18 months in advance, with the summer and autumn filling up the quickest! In the off seasons I am able to book with shorter notice.

Do you travel?

Yes, I love travelling! I am available but only throughout Canada. All expenses paid by the client.

What is required to book?

A 20% deposit and a signed contract. I love meeting for a coffee or zoom to meet the couple and hear all about their love story. This helps me get a clear vision for who you are and how I can make your special day even more special! After you book, you’ll receive special access to my “Wedding Guide,” which includes pro tips for your wedding day.

What do we receive at the end?

You will receive a lovely memory box, with a custom high resolution USB with all your wedding images on it. The memory box contains a few favourite prints, as well as a little gift from us to you as a thank you for having us. Your images are also given via digital online gallery, with access to my print shop, so you’ll have them in two places!
